Baxter Heparin Litigation Alert

Cory Watson Crowder & DeGaris is representing clients who suffered serious personal injury due to the recent contamination of the drug heparin, manufactured by pharmaceutical giant Baxter Healthcare Corporation. Our cases allege that the contaminated heparin posed life-threatening and sometimes fatal risks to the individuals who were administered this medication.

The contaminated heparin has been linked to refractory hypotension, which is spontaneous low blood pressure that occurs despite adequate blood plasma, blood volume, and otherwise normal signs. Refractory hypotension can result in a number of complications including: organ damage, organ failure, shock, and death.

We are currently reviewing cases in which individuals either suffered a hypotensive event requiring hospitalization, or died immediately after using heparin manufactured by Baxter Healthcare. We are interested in talking with you about referring your cases to us, or associating on these cases. Please contact our firm’s lead attorney for this litigation: Jerome Tapley at jtapley@cwcd.com or Jennis Warren jwarren@cwcd.com or call us at (800) 852-6299.
