Refer Your Peter Pan Peanut Butter Cases Peter Pan peanut butter and Great Value brand have been the subject of a voluntary recall by its manufacturer, ConAgra Foods, Inc. The peanut butter was found to be responsible for a nationwide salmonella outbreak. ConAgra has recalled Peter Pan peanut butter jars and Great Value jars with a product code beginning with the number 2111 on the lid. The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) states that these peanut butter products are responsible for salmonella cases starting late last summer. The recall notice issued by the FDA states that customers who have the peanut butter should discard the product. Consumption of the product may lead to food poisoning type symptoms. The peanut butter was produced by ConAgra exclusively at its plant in Sylvester, Georgia. Cory Watson already has a number of cases in Alabama and Tennessee with clients who were hospitalized after eating the recalled product. We are strongly recommending to our clients not to discard the product lid, which will become important evidence in these cases. We are interested in referrals of cases anywhere in the United States where a client has been forced to seek medical treatment after eating the tainted peanut butter and has sufficient evidence of the purchase of the product. We have extensive medical and scientific material as well as intake and client screening packets available upon request. Rick DiGiorgio and Doug Dellaccio are heading up this litigation.
