For the past fifteen years, Cory Watson Attorneys has had the honor of sponsoring Susan G. Komen’s Race for the Cure. Breast cancer awareness is a cause incredibly near and dear to our hearts. To us, this event is more than a fun Saturday activity with co-workers. It’s a day where Cory Watson Attorneys can support and promote a wonderful cause that does so much for women nationwide.
This year’s 5K race was held at Regions Field in downtown Birmingham. Our water station at the Cory Watson headquarters had a team of 74 attorneys and staff cheering on the racers as they passed through 22nd Street South. Survivors and their families took a few minutes to catch their breath, pose for pictures and share their stories with us.
Committed to Finding A Cure
Cory Watson Attorneys has been a major sponsor of Race for the Cure for more than a decade as part of the firm’s commitment to breast cancer research, awareness and women’s health. Our sponsorship of the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure provides the support necessary to fund breast cancer and community education, as well as screening and treatment initiatives throughout local service areas to help those in need. We do this because we care.
The law firm has a legacy of advocating for women in the courts. Cory Watson has been on the front lines, representing women nationwide in high profile litigation involving recalled and defective medical devices including breast implants, dangerous birth control devices and drugs, transvaginal mesh and much more.
