NuvaRing® Blood Clot Lawsuits Concluded*

We are no longer accepting NuvaRing cases

The NuvaRing® is a plastic vaginal contraceptive ring. It is marketed as an easy-to-use birth control alternative, which delivers a lower estrogen level than birth control pills or the patch. However, NuvaRing was linked to an increased risk of blood clots in users, causing serious health complications.

NuvaRing® Linked to Serious Health Risks

Available in the U.S. since 2001, NuvaRing works by delivering a dose of progestin and estrogen over the course of three weeks each month. But reports linked an increased risk of blood clots and cardiovascular problems to NuvaRing.

Research showed that the form of progestin used to create NuvaRing carried twice the risk of blood clots when compared to previous generations of progestins. Despite being marketed at a safe alternative, NuvaRing was linked to potentially deadly side effects.

Cory Watson filed lawsuits claiming the drug’s manufacturers did not fully disclose health risks to innocent consumers.

The personal injury lawyers at Cory Watson Attorneys settled their lawsuits and recovered compensation for their clients injured by the use of NuvaRing.

If you believe you were harmed by your birth control, please call us and let us investigate your case to see if we can help you.
